Box of Crayons

Here is the most precious poem about crayons that I find fitting to follow my post about color in my life...

While walking in a toy store
The day before today,
I overheard a Crayon Box
With many things to say.
I don’t like red! said Yellow.
And Green said, Nor do I!
And no one here likes Orange,
But no one knows quite why.
We are a box of crayons
that really doesn’t get along.
Said Blue to all the others.
Something here is wrong!
Well, I bought that box of crayons
And took it home with me.
And laid out all the crayons
So the crayons could all see.
They watched me as I colored
With Red and Blue and Green,
And Black and White and Orange
And every color in between.
They watched as Green became the grass
And Blue became the sky.
The yellow sun was shining bright
On White clouds drifting by.
Colors changing as they touched,
Becoming something new.
They watched me as I colored.
They watched till I was through.
And when I’d finally finished,
I began to walk away.
And as I did the Crayon box
Had something more to say...
I do like Red! said the Yellow
And Green said, So do I!
And Blue you are terrific!
So high up in the sky.
We are a Box of Crayons
Each of us unique,
But when we get together
The picture is complete.

Dear Genie,
Thankyou for your love and concern.
BY the grace of our loving Lord all in my family are safe and sound. But I am upset fro the ones who were lost in this trragic plane crash.my fmily stay in the central part of India, and presently I work in the northen part of India ,near by capital city.
I have been away for quite some time from bloggyland as I use to get too tired after work ,have been working without breaks from the 1st of this month .then I had joined ACLS[advanced cardiovascular life support} course, conducted by AHA [American Heart Associaction }
and feel much better after learning this course ,It has added much life saving EMS skills to me as a doctor.May be a tribute to people who go off just like that as no body is there to save or ressucitate them.
love to you and your family
Hugs

I am so happy to hear from you and to know you are your family are all OK. The work you are doing within the medical profession is so needed, and the people you are helping are very fortunate to have such a caring and competent physician at their side. Take care and keep in touch. Oh, and I am so sappy you liked the little poem. I even read it to Buddy tonight. It is just toooooooo sweet. Hugs lad LOT of love, Genie
