I Need To Get Back to My Sampler

I am alive and well, and I haven’t forgotten any of you.  I have just been devoting all of my spare time to trying to finally teach myself to use my Canon Rebel for more that just point and shoot.  I ‘ve started another blog devoted only to photography and have been working to develop it dunning the past two months... Climbing the Digital Mountain One Step at a Time, and I still have my crafty blog, Buttons for Baga.

School is back in session and I still have my job....for that I am very thankful.  All is well here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  Buddy and I are just fine.  I need desperately to get back to my sampler, though...it has been quite a while since I have worked on it.  My hat blessing was the last one I completed.  I promise to do better in the days and weeks to come.  I have a LONG ways to go to even begin to start finishing it.  100 squares are a LOT!

Hugs to all of you......Genie

Hi Genie!.. Not to worry, I've been a little negligent to my project as well lately, between Summer, and so often being torn away to my crochet projects. I did recently stitch a couple of blessings, but I'm right back to crocheting a sweater at the moment! I hope to be finished with that by this weekend, and then maybe I can stitch another square or two at least! Despite my sporadic posts, I REALLY DO LOVE the project!!.. Have fun with that camera!.. And have a great weekend! ~tina

Hi Genie, there are so many things that I promise myself to finish, only to find it was the same weeks after weeks..Life is busy, so be gentle on yourself.

Thanks for your generous words of comfort on my blog!

Thanks so much for coming by. Hope you will come again soon.

I have fallen behind in things I want to do, too. I think, this time of year is always so busy, and we all just can't do everything. Just relax...it will get better. :))

So almost the whole world is back in school except us here in New Zealand.

Have fun with your new camera. I just shoot and snap, I am more interested in writing.

So glad the internet is back on, my son aged 14 who is into youtube and I went to the library and use the computer there. Got quite a system that you can only reserve it for 30 minutes or 1 hour.

You are pretty good at self portraits. I would like a nicer camera but I don't have the patience to learn how to properly work it.

Genie, I don't recall which blogs I can't comment on without it being a real pain...I can comment here fine...so if you haven't changed it, you don't have to...

Just checked your other blog and it is one that needs to be changed...if you do I will appreciate it...I don't blog every day, but do fairly regular. And your other blog is one I really like to look at but hate that I cannot comment without turning on 3rd party cookies...
